Northeast of Yuba City near LaPorte, the LaPorte Snowmobile Trails is a 30+ mile network of groomed trails.

The snowmobiling trailhead is located in LaPorte. To reach LaPorte from Oroville, follow Olive Highway to Forbestown Road. Turn right and follow for 20 miles to LaPorte Road. Turn left and follows signs for 25 miles into LaPorte.

Overall, LaPorte is the 18th most popular snowmobile trail of all 31 snowmobiling rides in California. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby LaPorte including Ashpan Snowmobile Area, China Wall / Foresthill Divide Winter Trails, Silver Bear , Swain Mountain and Morgan Summit.
