East of Sacramento and south of South Lake Tahoe, the Ebbetts Pass Area has 35 miles of groomed snowmobile trails.

The snowmobile trails near Ebbetts Pass are accessible from the Lake Alpine Sno-Park and the Spicer Sno-Park, both are off of SR4.
