Coeur d'Alene Snowmobiling

The 5th most popular snowmobile trail in Idaho.

East of Coeur d'Alene in the Silver Valley, there is an extensive network of groomed snowmobile trails maintained by the Silver Valley Snowmobile Association.

The snowmobile trailhead is located north of Wallace. Head north from Wallace on NFD 456 (9 Mile Rd.) Go 9 miles to the intersection on NFD 456 and NFD 271 (Twomile Creek Road). At the intersection continue north. Look for parking on the right. In addition, there are good snowmobile trails to be found to the northeast of Coeur d'Alene in the Coeur d'Alene National Forest.

Overall, Coeur d'Alene is the 5th most popular snowmobile trail of all 19 snowmobiling rides in Idaho.
