Southwest of Elko, the shimmering Lammoile Canyon is a rugged canyon abounding with gorgeous scenery with plenty of open snowmobile riding.

To reach the snowmobiling trailhead for Lamoille Canyon from Elko, head southeast on SR228 towards Spring Creek. Continue on SR227 towards Lamoille for 13 miles. Turn right heading south on FS660 for 12 miles.

Overall, Lamoille Canyon is the 5th most popular snowmobile trail of all 6 snowmobiling rides in Nevada.
