Northwest of Helena and east of Seeley Lake in the Helena National Forest, the Lincoln area has a 250 mile network of snowmobile trails. The trails rannge in elevation from 4,575 to 8,200 feet. The eight major snowmobile trails start right from Lincoln where riding is permitted on the streets.

Huckleberry Pass Route - a tree-lined route with several play areas which connects to the Seeley Lake Trail system.

Keep Cool Route - a scenic lake tour.

Stonewall Mountain Route - an advanced ride with spectacular views.

Dalton Mountain Route - an easy trail with play areas.

Alice Creek Route - a scenic territory with play areas.

This trail system is maintained by the Snow Warriors club.

Overall, Lincoln is the 18th most popular snowmobile trail of all 33 snowmobiling rides in Montana. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Lincoln including Marysville / Austin System Snowmobile Trail, Rimini-Elliston-Basin Snowmobile Loop, Magpie-Sunshine and Minnehaha / Beaver Creek.
