South of South Lake Tahoe, the Hope Valley Snow Park provides access to an extensive network of snowmobile trails.

To reach the snowmobiling at the Hope Valley Snow Park, head east on US50 from Sacremento or west on US50 from South Lake Tahoe towards Echo Lake. Just east of Echo Lake, turn southeast on SR89 to Picketts Junction. Turn right heading west on SR88 for about 2.5 miles to the snow park.

Overall, Hope Valley Snow Park is the 14th most popular snowmobile trail of all 31 snowmobiling rides in California. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Hope Valley Snow Park including Yuba Pass Winter Trails, Little Truckee Summit Winter Trails, Lake Basin , Ebbetts Pass Area and Blackwood Canyon Sno-Park.
