Southwest of Anchorage near Port Alsworth, the Lake Clark National Park has miles of snowmobiling available. This is an open range snowmobiling area with no trails or roads.

Note: there is no highway access to Lake Clark NP, so airplane access is most practical (fly into Iliamna).

Overall, Lake Clark National Park is the 4th most popular snowmobile trail of all 4 snowmobiling rides in Alaska.
