Northeast of Boise in the Boise National Forest, the Lowman area has 24 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. The trails run from Lowman north to the Bruce Meadows Warming Hut at the Dagger Falls junction.

Overall, Lowman is the 17th most popular snowmobile trail of all 19 snowmobiling rides in Idaho. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Lowman including Fairfield, Idaho City and West Mountain / Cascade.
