Barrhead Snowmobiling

Northwest of Edmonton, the Barrhead area has 100km of groomed snowmobile trails. Primarily, the trails run north through Hubert Lake Wildland Provincial Park and up to the Trans Canada Trail northwest of Flatbush.

The snowmobile trails are maintained by the Northern Lights Snowmobile Club.

There is a staging area right in the town of Barrhead.

Overall, Barrhead is the 42nd most popular snowmobile trail of all 47 snowmobiling rides in Alberta. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Barrhead including Edson, Fort McMurray, Fort Saskatchewan, Swan, Grande Prairie and AthabascaBonnyville.
