Rocky Mountain House Snowmobiling

The 17th most popular snowmobile trail in Alberta.

Southwest of Edmonton, the Rocky Mountain House area has 1,000km of snowmobile trails. These trails are maintained by the Rocky Mountain Sledders Club.

There are three main snowmobile riding areas around Rocky Mountain House: 1) the Chambers Creek Snowmobile Trail (86km) that is about 30km west of Rocky Mountain House on Highway 11; 2) the area north of Highway 11 but west of Highway 734 (Brazeau River, Brown Creek, Blackstone River, Chungo River, Wapiabi River); and 3) the area north of Highway 11 but east of Highway 734 (Brazeau River, Brown Creek, Blackstone River).

Overall, Rocky Mountain House is the 17th most popular snowmobile trail of all 47 snowmobiling rides in Alberta.
