Kelowna Snowmobiling

The 9th most popular snowmobile trail in British Columbia.

South of Golden, the Kelowna area has 350km of groomed snowmobile trails. The trails are maintained weekly by the Kelowna Snowmobile Club. In all areas surrounding Kelowna, ideal snow depths are found at altitudes over 3500 feet, with a gross annual snowfall providing a packed base often in excess of six feet. Alpine meadows are plentiful and unplowed logging roads are there to enjoy and explore. The club owns and maintains three chalets in the Greystokes. It also maintains three other strategic warm-up shelters. Access to most areas is just minutes out of Kelowna and generally passes through active logging roads so caution should be used and signs obeyed.

Overall, Kelowna is the 9th most popular snowmobile trail of all 23 snowmobiling rides in British Columbia.
