South of Tahoe City on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, the Blackwood Canyon Sno-Park provides access to miles of snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.

To reach the snowmobilng trailhead for the Blackwood Canyon Sno-Park from Tahoe City, head south on US89 for 3 miles. It is on the west side of the highway across from Kaspian Picnic Area.

Overall, Blackwood Canyon Sno-Park is the 26th most popular snowmobile trail of all 31 snowmobiling rides in California.
