Eustis-Stratton Area Snowmobiling

The 23rd most popular snowmobile trail in Maine.

North of Augusta, the Eustis-Stratton Area has a 128 mile snowmobile trail system maintained by the Arnold Trail Snowmobile Club. The groomed trail system links to Grand Falls, Rangeley, Carrabasset and up to Canada. The trail system connects with the main east-west snowmobile route ITS86, and also with the north-south snowmobile route ITS89. Also, to the southeast, there is the snowmobile route ITS115 that heads further south.

For snowmobiling near Eustis and the rest of state, all riders, resident and non-resident alike, must register their snowmobiles in Maine to ride in Maine. Most of the registration money goes to the Snowmobile Trail Fund of the Department of Conservation. Registration information is available at (207) 287-2043. After registration, make sure to read the Maine Snowmobile Law Book. Note: it is illegal to ride ATVs on designated snowmobile trails.
