West of Kamloops and north of Gold Bridge, the Slim Creek Snowmobile Trail provides access to an extensive riding area where big riding days of 250km are common.

The snowmobiling trailhead for the Slim Creek Snowmobile Trail is located at Gun Lake.

Note: Be aware that glacial crevasses are present, and white-out conditions can arise quickly. A guide is recommended.
