Southwest of Helena and south of Frontier Town, the Minnehaha-Rimini area has 120 miles of groomed snowmobile trails.

The Rimini-Elliston-Basin Snowmobile Loop is located approximately 8 miles west of Helena on Highway 12, then approximately 6 miles south on the county road to the trailhead. The trails are maintained by the Helena Snowdrifters Snowmobile Club.

Overall, Minnehaha / Beaver Creek is the 33rd most popular snowmobile trail of all 33 snowmobiling rides in Montana. Several of the better snowmobile trails are nearby Minnehaha / Beaver Creek including Lincoln, Marysville / Austin System Snowmobile Trail, Rimini-Elliston-Basin Snowmobile Loop and Magpie-Sunshine.
